WildRide! Bike Rally and and WildRun! 5k Against Cancer will both take place on May 21, 2011 at 8am in Richardson, TX about 15 minutes from Westside in the Village Apartments.
The WildRide! Bike Rally is celebrating its 8th Annual event. Ride 16, 40 or 65 mile family-friendly routes! The event is hosted by the Methodist Richardson Cancer Center and proceeds will benefit the Lance Armstrong Shaped Beam Surgery™ program, housed in the facility. This year, the organization expects 2,000 participants. Registration for WildRide! is $40 for adults, $20 for children.
Participants who prefer the foot-to-pavement experience may also participate via the WildRun! Against Cancer 5k. This sister program will also benefit the Methodist Richardson Cancer Center. Registration for WildRun! is $35 for adults and $20 for children.
Register as an individual or a team. Pick up registration packets May 18-May 20 from 10am to 8pm at Richardson Bike Mart.
Cap off the event with live music, unlimited pizza and activities. Many participants enjoy picnics and family time at the start/finish line after the event.
